The legal framework governing our AI-powered commerce ecosystem.
Important: 24-Hour Dispute Window
To ensure a fair marketplace, Vendo operates a strict 24-hour dispute window. Customers must report any issues (damaged goods, incorrect items, or non-delivery) within 24 hours of receiving the package to be eligible for a refund. After this 24-hour window, payment is disbursed to the supplier and the transaction is legally closed.
1. For Our Users (Customers)
- Accountability: By using Vee AI, you agree to provide accurate and reachable delivery information.
- Safe Payments: All protected transactions must be completed via Vendo's secure checkout links. Direct transfers or offline payments to suppliers are not protected and Vendo is not liable for any losses incurred.
- Order Management: Orders can be cancelled at any point before the status is updated to "Dispatched" by the supplier.
- Authenticity: While we verify suppliers, users are encouraged to review product photos provided by Vee AI before confirming an order.
2. For Our Suppliers
- Verification: All suppliers must complete the 3-step KYC process including identity and business documentation before listing products.
- Listing Accuracy: Suppliers must ensure product images and descriptions are 100% accurate. Misleading listings are grounds for immediate suspension.
- Commission: Vendo retains a flat 10% service fee on all successful sales processed through the platform.
- Delivery: Suppliers using "Self-Delivery" bear full responsibility for the package until the customer confirms receipt or the 24-hour window elapses.
3. Supplier Credibility System
- Performance Tracking: Suppliers start with 5 Lives. Negative delivery feedback results in the deduction of lives.
- Service Tiers: Suppliers must maintain a minimum credibility level to be featured in AI suggestions and search results. Products from suppliers with critical status (1-2 lives) are hidden from the marketplace.
- Restoration: Lives are restored automatically if no violations occur for 30 consecutive days.
- Appeals: Suppliers may appeal a negative rating by submitting documentation and paying a non-refundable administrative fee. If an appeal is approved by our compliance team, full credibility lives (5/5) will be restored.
4. Platform Role
Vendo (Rockybits Technology) acts as a technical facilitator connecting buyers and sellers via AI. We do not manufacture or store the products sold. We intervene in disputes strictly within the 24-hour post-delivery window to facilitate refunds or resolutions.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes unresolved by our internal mediation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Anambra State, Nigeria.
By using Vendo, you signify your agreement to these terms.
